BSSM Student Housing
Our Vision
Our vision for BSSM housing is to provide both safe and convenient community living opportunities for students in Redding. We recognize the need for BSSM student housing and have a heart to offer a much needed service. We are both BSSM student graduates and enjoy connecting with the students and helping create a smooth transition to Redding.
Here is our process and the service that we offer:
1.) We start by filling the house with compatible students. Although we cannot guarantee compatibility, we do our best through prayer and the interview process to successfully match students. We want this to be an incredible year for you.
2.) We fully furnish each rental with newer and nicer furnishings to help create a comfortable and clean living environment. This should ease your transition to Redding by allowing you to focus on getting used to a new environment without the added stress of trying to buy furnishings. You can look under more and then lease agreement section to see a complete inventory list. We also offer houses in convenient locations close to Bethel, the Civic and shopping.
3.) We also offer 10 month leases (instead of the standard 12 month lease) to accommodate the BSSM school year.
4.) We do not require credit checks which is generally a standard in the rental industry. We realize that a lot of students are either internationals or high school graduates. Both situations mean a student will not have a U.S. credit history. We take the risk and accept students without credit history, although we do screen students through a face to face interview.
5.) We pay ALL the utility bills including internet to relieve any stress on you of trying to collect utility money from housemates.
6.) Although we expect you to maintain your home by cleaning, changing light bulbs and doing other general home care, we are available and have a team of professionals to take care of any major issues that might arise.
7.) Each student signs an individual lease so, although there are some shared responsibilities such as cleaning and fixing any broken items, you are not financially tied to each other. If one student moves out, it is NOT your responsibility to find a new housemate.
8.) We meet with each house at the beginning of the year so you can get to know us and we can get to know you. We go over important house how-to's as well as answer any questions that you may have.
We look forward to serving you and helping with your first year transition to Redding. Please check out the details of each house under the BSSM student housing section.
